Wouldn’t it be great if you could see a real-time view of your living room on your phone no matter where you are? And wouldn’t it be great if that remote transmission didn’t cost an arm and a leg? The Blink Mini 2K+ Indoor Security Camera is now $16.99 at Amazon, a whopping 58% off its original price of $39.99. That’s also just a dollar more than its all-time lowest price.

This little camera can be placed anywhere in your home as long as you have a nearby outlet to plug it into. Once set up, you can tune it to your phone and see and hear what it sees and hears, and you can also talk to anyone at home via two-way audio. The 2K resolution is sharp and allows you to see all the details you need.

The actual setup only takes a few minutes: you plug it into power, then connect to your home Wi-Fi network through the Blink app. You can place it on any flat surface with the included stand or mount it on the wall with the two included mounting screws.

The Blink Mini 2K+ Camera is a solid, affordable option if you already have a Blink video doorbell, as it integrates seamlessly to act as a doorbell – when someone rings the Blink doorbell, you hear it on the Mini. Blink cameras are also compatible with Alexa, so you can use voice commands and routines to automate tasks.

What’s the trick? The Mini 2K+ does not have local storage capabilities on its own. You have to pay a Blink subscription ($3.99/month or $39.99/year) for cloud storage, or invest in a Blink sync module that plugs into the Mini 2K+ and allows local storage on a USB drive of up to 256GB.
