Prime Big Deal Days 2026: What Apple equipment will go on sale?
Outside of Black Friday, Amazon’s Prime Day sales are generally the best time to buy new gear. However, this year things will be a little more expensive. Apple raised the prices of Macs and iPads just as the last Prime Day was ending, so prices will be a little higher than during the first sale. This is what we expect from each of Apple’s products:
MacBook Air M5: The MacBook Air got a $200 price increase in June and now starts at $1,299. We’re already seeing $100 price cuts, but we expect to see the first price drops to under $1000 during the sale.
MacBook Pro M5: The price of the base M5 MacBook Pro increased $400 when Apple raised its price from $1,599 to $1,999, but you can get one for $1,849 right now. We expect to see the price drop further as Prime Day approaches.
macbook neo: Even before Apple raised its price to $699, the MacBook Neo was barely on sale. Right now, you can get one for $690 on Amazon, but we’ll keep an eye out for a $25 or $50 discount during Prime Day.
iPad: iPads have not been spared from the price increase, with models now costing between $100 and $150 more. Still, iPads have continued to get decent discounts and we expect the same this Prime Day. The iPad A16 regularly drops to $399 ($50 off), while the iPad Air M4 occasionally gets $100 off. We expect them to drop even further for Prime Day.
Apple Watch: With the launch of the new Apple Watch 12 and Ultra, Prime Big Deal Days could be a great opportunity to get a great deal on the older Series 11, and you can already get an Ultra 3 with Black Titanium Milanese Loop for $200 off. Elsewhere, we’re likely to see a discount of $50 or more on the Apple Watch SE 3, and we expect the first significant discounts on the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4.
