Gamers and PC users will spend hours adjusting frame rates, working on a spreadsheet or presentation, or comparing a new GPU, but the chair underneath it all is often ignored. That’s a mistake, because no amount of horsepower fixes the pain that sets in after a long foray, a marathon coding session, or back-to-back video calls. Stiff neck, pain in the lower back, legs going numb after six hours… none of that has to do with discipline. It’s about sitting in a chair that was never designed to move with you.

LiberNovo builds two lines of dynamic ergonomic chairs, Omni and Maxis, around a different idea: the chair should do some of the work of keeping you comfortable, not just cushion you while you sit.

This fall, coinciding with National Ergonomics Month, LiberNovo will be holding its Fall Prime Sale, slashing up to 37% off select chairs and accessories.

The real cost of staying still

If you game for hours at a time, run long builds in Visual Studio, or review back-to-back spreadsheets and meetings on a Windows workstation, your body is under the same kind of load whether you’re a competitive streamer or an office IT administrator: static pressure, in the same places, for hours on end. A high-end chair with good foam doesn’t solve that; it simply delays the discomfort for an hour or two.

LiberNovo presidents take a more active approach. ErgoPulse motorized lumbar support adjusts as you move in your seat instead of staying locked in one position. An OmniStretch Recovery Mode feature provides relief in the middle of a work or gaming session instead of waiting for a break you might skip. And a 105° to 160° recline range lets you go from an upright competitive gaming posture to a fully reclined “watch a stream, don’t play” position without changing furniture.

The design idea is what LiberNovo calls a dynamic support system: the headrest, backrest, armrests and seat move in sync, so the support follows the body rather than holding it in one posture.

Not all “ergonomic” chairs on the market receive that label. Before you buy, look for three things: adjustability based on different body types (not a single generic frame), ErgoPulse motorized lumbar support that tracks your movement instead of sitting fixed in place, and a recline mechanism that gently positions you back instead of dropping you.

Maxis, the flagship series in this sale, is a line of larger frame chairs designed for big and tall gamers and professionals, sold in Basic, Standard and Premium levels in Manual, Power and Airflow versions. It’s built with an ultra-deep 52cm seat to provide additional thigh support, a wider frame (430mm at the shoulders, 520mm at the waist), a U-shaped headrest with 140mm of vertical adjustment and 120mm of horizontal adjustment, curved arc-shaped armrests that keep pressure off the sides, and a six-spring recline system tuned for stability under a larger frame. The Maxis frame is rated at 399 lb (181 kg) and sized for users 5’10” to 6’7″ (178-200 cm).

Maxis Airflow adds Active AirFlow Ventilation, a sensor-driven seat ventilation system powered by a rechargeable battery, a feature otherwise only available on the Omni Pro.

Omni covers the rest of the line: Omni Pro for a full set of power features, Omni Gen as the middle option that does everything, and Omni SE as a simple manual chair for anyone making their first real upgrade from a basic office or gaming chair.

A core engineering feature shared by Omni and Maxis is the Bionic FlexFit backrest, which uses eight adaptive panels and 16 pivot points to contour the natural S-curve of the spine.

Why now is the time to buy?

An ergonomic chair is more like building a PC than an impulse purchase: it’s a long-term investment and LiberNovo has structured the sale that way. Buy early and you’ll get 30-day price protection, plus free gifts and automatic savings on qualifying orders, so there’s no incentive to rush a decision just to lock in a price. IT departments and studios outfitting five or more seats can also get wholesale pricing on eligible Maxis and Omni models, a solid option for offices undergoing a round of workstation upgrades along with new hardware.

Whether you’re looking for lower ping times in a raid, doing a long build, or just trying to make an 8-hour workday less grueling, LiberNovo’s fall Prime sale is worth a look. Think of it the same way you would think of a GPU or RAM upgrade: it’s not glamorous, but it changes the actual feel of each session.

LiberNovo’s Fall Prime Sale will run from September 30 to October 14, with some limited-time flash deals between October 6 and 7 on some products and bundles.
