The new models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, are available to Muse Code subscribers starting today. Wonder can also be accessed through the Meta Model API, Meta said.
Meta says it eventually plans to power its Muse AI agent with Wonder, starting with subscribers, and will develop specialized models that “can bring to everyone who uses Muse.” He hasn’t shared details or provided a timeline for either.
The company says its new models can rival leading models from OpenAI and Anthropic, including GPT-6 Astra, Claude Opus 5.5, and Claude Fable 5.1, pointing to internal test results on several industry benchmarks. It’s unclear how they compare to Google’s Gemini 4 Argon, whose capabilities are still being highlighted.
The releases are part of Meta’s aggressive push to reestablish itself as a major force in AI. The company has invested billions in talent and infrastructure and has been steadily expanding its AI lineup, including with the Muse Image imaging model and a big focus on bringing useful AI agents to the masses through Muse.
