Grokipedia, SpaceXAI’s AI-powered online encyclopedia, appears to be updating articles once again after a months-long hiatus. In August, legal war reported that articles on Grokipedia had not revised edits since April, but the platform’s live updates site now shows several recent changes to the pages, although as I write this, many are just a note saying “recheck all references and sources.”
The site appears to have been back up relatively recently. President Barack Obama’s page has a note saying it was “verified by Grok” two days ago, and Elon Musk’s page was verified as I wrote this, within the last hour. However, the Honolulu page, which I clicked on from the Obama page, was last verified 7 months ago, so it appears that not all pages have a recent scan.
While writing this article, I suggested an update to the Gears of War: E-Day page to note the game’s release date as October 6, and Grokipedia accepted the suggestion and now lists the date. I also requested an article on the Muse chatbot from Meta and that request is “Under Review.”
