Whether you’re looking to relax with your favorite book or listen to Spotify without being interrupted by the hum of your neighbor’s leaf blower, you’ll need a good pair of headphones to block out the world. You can pick up the second-generation Bose QuietComfort for $199 right now, which is a 45 percent discount off its MSRP of $359.
Bose is known for its noise cancellation technology, so these headphones are sure to live up to the hype. As the name suggests, they are also extremely comfortable to wear all day long. For those moments when you need to be more aware of your surroundings? Quiet Comfort 2 comes with a dedicated mode that lets outside sound in. If you’re looking for a truly immersive experience, you can connect them with USB-C for high-fidelity sound.
The battery lasts up to 24 hours with noise cancellation on, but you’ll get even more listening time if you turn it off occasionally. And if you need a quick recharge, just 15 minutes plugged in will give you an additional 2.5 hours of listening time.
However, there is a small caveat. The $199 price applies only to the Green, Mint and Taupe models. If you prefer the other colors, you’ll pay $219 (which is still a $140 discount). The Mint model looks absolutely gorgeous.
