I was hoping SSD prices would drop at least a little during the holiday sales, and luckily, Amazon delivered by dropping the price of the Samsung T9, one of our favorite portable SSDs, to just $335 for the 2TB model. This is a record low since February, when SSD prices began to skyrocket. Typically, this fast, rugged, portable SSD costs around $450 on the street, with small, rare discounts.

As crazy as it may seem, Amazon’s 25 percent discount on this 2TB T9 is one of the best we’ve seen in months… although the prices are not. quite The same as last year.
