Fortunately, Apple’s annual calendar is fairly predictable, while reliable rumors often provide additional clues about what’s coming. That means we can make informed estimates about the timing of future keynotes and which products are most likely to appear.
Here’s everything we know about the event Apple could hold later in 2026 and beyond.
When is the next Apple event?
- Next rumored product launch: October 13, 2026. One event still unconfirmed.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claimed in X that Apple will release its “next big thing” on October 13, referring to new smart home products. Apple has not confirmed the date and it is not yet clear whether the company will hold an event or announce the products through its website and press releases.
Apple hasn’t announced a date for another event in 2026, but more new products may be released at an event, or via a press release, before the end of the year.
Apple has held October events in the past: in 2023, an event was held on October 30, while in 2021 Apple held one on October 18. With the iPhone Duo launching on October 22, Apple may want to avoid colliding with that launch, making the following week, starting October 26, a plausible window for another event or product announcements.
What could Apple launch at the next event?
The rumored lineup centers on Apple’s first smart home display, often called the HomePad. Gurman describes a 6-inch screen mounted on a speaker base on a manually tilting arm, as well as a separate wall-mounted version. Updated HomePod mini and Apple TV 4K models with faster processors are also expected.
Other rumored launches include new iPads and a touchscreen MacBook Pro, but this report does not state that they will arrive alongside smart home products.

Apple has held three events so far in 2026, although the first was not an event in the traditional sense. On March 4, the company invited select media to hands-on “experiences” at multiple locations. In the lead-up to that date, Apple launched several products via a press release, including the iPhone 17e, the iPad Air M4 and the MacBook Pro M5 Pro and M5 Max, the MacBook Air M5 and the MacBook Neo.
The second event was WWDC, which began with a keynote on June 8. At the WWDC keynote, Apple outlined upcoming changes to its operating systems, including iOS 27 and macOS 27 Golden Gate.
In August, Apple issued press releases to announce the new Mac mini and Mac Studio.
At the September 9 event, Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, a foldable iPhone Duo, a new Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, and AirPods 5.
