flowkey listens through your device’s microphone or a MIDI connection and marks incorrect notes as you play. Standby mode keeps the lesson in place until you press the right keys, so beginners set the speed instead of chasing it. When a passage becomes difficult, slow motion, loops, and one-handed practice, break it down into pieces you can handle. Videos of expert pianists play alongside synchronized sheet music, so you can see fingering and notes at the same time.

Classic Plan subscribers get over 1,000 classical and public domain songs by composers like Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, and Debussy. Each is organized for beginner, intermediate, advanced and professional levels, and includes courses on sheet music reading, chords, rhythm and playing with both hands. Returning players who took lessons as kids can start at a higher level and use those courses to rebuild the fundamentals.

One subscription works on unlimited devices, including Windows PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, iPhones, iPads, and Android phones. Mobile devices require iOS 15.6 or Android 11 and later. You’ll need a digital piano or keyboard to play and lessons are offered in 11 languages.

Learn piano on your own schedule, one song at a time.

One year of flowkey’s Classic Plan is just $29.97 until November 1 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
