If you were hoping to upgrade your old Apple TV 4K with a new fourth-generation model today, you’re probably a little taken aback by the new price. It now costs $299 to get a new Apple TV 4K, higher than it has cost before. And apart from a new chip, there isn’t much news about it.
But Siri Remote is a surprisingly big update, bringing Find My with Precision Finding to an iPhone Air, iPhone 17, 17 Pro/Pro Max, or iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max, and the upcoming iPhone Duo. Find My has been on Siri Remote since the second generation, but Precision Finding is new. Also new is a built-in speaker so you can play a sound to quickly locate the device when it gets stuck on the trainer cushion.
