Monitor: Alienware OLED 34-inch 240Hz, $630
Dell
If I had a few hundred dollars burning a hole in my pocket, this is the monitor I would choose right now. With new technology for the OLED panel, 240Hz speed, and a large but not crazy size, it’s perfect for many desktop setups. If you need something more affordable, be sure to check out the number one pick in our Prime Day monitor roundup, a 27-inch OLED for just $300.
Keyboard: Epomaker TH80 75% wireless, $54
epomaker
Good keyboards have become expensive, probably because many brands have realized that people are willing to pay for them. This Epomaker model has all the features I’m looking for (multi-device wireless, hot-swap switches, PBT keycaps), plus additional flashing and switch selection. It’s a great way to get something new (or get into the hobby) for cheap.
Mouse: Solakaka SM809, $37
Michael Crider/Casting
This is the mouse I use every day, a much, much cheaper copy of Razer’s Naga Pro interchangeable design. It gives you the choice between side panels: three buttons for shooters and other simple games, or nine buttons for MMOs and MOBAs, plus four more programmable buttons on the top. The thing is incredibly flexible for the price, only $37 during the sale.
Mouse Pad: Wolvende Felt Desk Pad, $34
wolf
Another one I’m using right now. This super wide real felt mat adds a touch of class to my desk, while protecting it and giving me a solid surface. If you want something a little more mainstream and gamer, I can also personally recommend Corsair’s great mouse pad, for just $16 at the time of writing.
Speakers: Edifier R1280T, $110
Michael Crider/Casting
These are the favorites of Reddit’s Battlestation sub, and yes, I use them too. I’ve loved these speakers for years, but I have to admit they’re less attractive than before after the price went up without any new updates. Thanks, 2026. Still, at $40 off the current list price, it’s a nice discount. Do you want Bluetooth too? So opt for the $140 version.
Headphones: HyperX Cloud Flight 2, $86
HP/HyperX
For me, a headset does double duty: focus on gaming and flexibility to listen when I’m away from my desk. And no one beats HyperX when it comes to wireless battery life. This headset claims to have 100 hours of life in 2.4 GHz mode (weeks or months for most users) and 150 in Bluetooth. All for almost $50 off the retail price, not bad.
